Here is some stuff that has been going on in our class lately.
This little boy's birthday is on the same day as Dr. Seuss'. I had him in class last year and he brought me a piece of cake. So sweet of him. It was good too.
Some Dr. Seuss books I had out for the day.
Dr. Seuss also wrote under the name of Theo. LeSieg It is his real first name and his real last name spelled backwards. Pretty clever huh?
A real fireman came and read the class a story for Read Across America Day. They loved it.
Just after Valentine's Day we had to say good-bye to one of our students. He went back to his school of residence. (sad face) When he came to our school there wasn't any openings at his school. So, one finally came up. Good luck. We will miss you.

Dr. Suess's real name is Theo Geisel? Where did the name "Dr. Suess" come from? Is there nothing sacred/true anymore? This is like Abraham Lincoln's real name being Bud Jones or something. Just kidding, but I did not know this bit of trivia. Fondly, Susan
